    My 2011 Amarok 180PS Highline was recalled for the fix. It doesn't seem to have affected anything and the fuel consumption is much the same - if anything slightly better.

    Interesting point is that on the MOT nox test it is stated as cancelled because the emissions are not detectable.

    You joined any compensation law suit thingies that are going around or are you not that bothered?

    Not bothered it runs well and no issues with emissions or fuel consumption.

    Apparently the EGR valve on some seem to go a bit quicker. Saw it on watchdog the other week I think. Was all cars on there i think mind.

    Just had my 2013 Amarok in to replace egr valve after software update, absolutely nothing to do with that tho, no sir, nothing to see here, walk on.
    On the plus side, replaced foc, so can't complain too much

    My MY 2011 163bhp had a recall too , i had no issues after the software update/recall.
    No power loss and fuel consumation no difference
