    Hi,
Is it safe to go offroading with an ARB Rooftop tent (Almost 50kg) fitted on an Aeroklass Canopy?
The payload of the canopy is sth like 100kgs on normal roads.
And I'm not really confident on the 4 Clamps holding the canopy to the ute o_O
    What are your thoughts?

    Cheers,

    Ikbal

Myself, I'd have fitted it to the cab, of course depends on how the tent unfolds etc.

I wouldn't advise mounting a roof tent on a plastic canopy unless you strengthen it (hoops/braces etc). Once you add in the weight of the occupants you'll be over the limit.

This is why we only supply the RSi stainless steel SmartCanopy (350kg load rating as standard). We specialise in Roof-Tents, canopies, bumpers and other equipment.

Better off mounting on a rack or decent load bars on your cab roof!
